Q: What’s with the name xocal?
A: Honestly…. I have no friggin clue.
How did it come about? well back in the day I worked with a friend on several web sites for people and we called our company… xocal. The domain name (xocal.net) was purchased by the other half of the company and instead of paying any cash for my part of the “business expense” I bought lunch Well it ended up being very short lived venture with only a handful of sites ever being created. After the demise of the company the domain was left in limbo never being renewed I picked it up figuring that if anyone was going to have control of it, it should be one of us. Since then it has been a simple photo gallery and since has been turned into a blog.
